Part # : VA2 Description: Universal RV & Old Fridge Thermostat Details : Universal RV-type Absorption & Old Refrigerator Thermostat Kit This universal, adaptable replacement refrigerator cold control is suitable for use in RV/cottage-style electric (non-compressor) absorption refrigerators and also in older compressor refrigerators utilizing only a small interior freezer box (see illustration). For full-width freezer compartment refrigerators, see listing for VC1 manual defrost fridge control. This control's sensor bulb attaches directly onto the evaporator (freezer box) and is 78" (~200 cm) long, enough to fit most applications. Its temperature calibrations are as follows: - Cold cut-out 0.4°F (-18°C), - Normal cut-out 23.9°F (-4.5°C) - Normal cut-in 31.1°F (0.5°C) - Warm cut-in 38.3°F (+3.5°C). This genuine Ranco® fridge control is UL and CSA approved and comes packaged with installation instructions in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Dutch. Your choice of using the large, easily readable (see illustration) 3" diameter knob and dial or smaller 1¾" diameter knob.
