Part # : VF3 Description: Universal Freezer Thermostat Details : Universal Chest/Upright Freezer Thermostat Kit This universal, adaptable replacement thermostat (aka 'cold control') is suitable for most chest and upright freezers. It may also work in frost-free refrigerator models where the control senses the freezer compartment air temperature. This control has NO signal circuit so if used in place of one with a high temperature indicator light or buzzer, those features will no longer function. This control's sensor bulb is 78" (~200 cm) long, enough to fit most applications. Its temperature calibrations are as follows: - Cold cut-out -29.2°F (-34°C), - Normal cut-out -11.2°F (-24°C) - Normal cut-in 3.2°F (-16°C) - Warm cut-in 10.4°F (-12°C). This genuine Ranco® fridge control is UL and CSA approved and comes packaged with installation instructions in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Dutch. Your choice of using the large, easily readable (see illustration) 3" diameter knob and dial or smaller 1¾" diameter knob.
